Orange Death

Ugh...

Wed Jul 15, 2009, 8:58 PM
First off, some kids (and I mean kids) are always street-racing near my house every night at midnight. Now, only kids street race. I'm laying that out right now. You're a punkass if you honestly think that taking your daddy's car out, late at night (OHHH SNAP SON), and flooring it with your other street punk friends is cool. Oh, and by the way, I live in a disturbingly white, well-to-do suburb, so if they're doing this for cash or turf or some shit, I hope they hit a pole, seriously. Total the car, walk away alright so the parents ground these doorknobs for months.

Now, I never race. I go for backroads sprints, which is myself, alone, taking a few backroads avenues at higher speeds and I practice my driving skills. And, I'm proud to hold the title of Gentleman Racer; I race on tracks. When I pick up a track car, it will race ONLY on tracks. Why? Because I'm not trying to impress the local ';princess' wearing the way-too-tight sweatpants with the two-tone hair and orange tan. I got a LADY. Also, I never liked putting a lot of gel in my hair, or wearing hats with stickers on them.

Now, that said, I admit to doing the occasional brakestand launch, for my own personal amusement. Cruising around is a lot more fun, however. You enjoy yourself more when you're not pretending your dad's car is faster than the other kid's dad's car.

Rant finished.
